		<description>This is a very timely article, Bucky. Unfortunately, we're seeing more and more of these kind of practices being employed in our market. I was just informed by one of my Buyers that I will soon have the privilege of working with one of the companies you refer to here. Oh goody! These companies do everything possible to discourage Buyer Agency Representation. It's not what's good for the Buyer, but whatever will benefit the builder and their agents. In this instance, my Buyers were already fully pre-approved by a greatly respected local mortgage lender. But now, in order to pursue buying a home from this particular builder, they have to go through the entire process again with the Builder's preferred lender. Now, mind you, they say that you don't have to actually 'use' their lender, but I guarantee there will be a great deal of pressure, incentives, and tactics to sway them away from their current lender.
