October Wind Storm – Pacific Northwest Style!
October 24th, 2007 by Mark Flanders
The Pacific Nortwest is my favorite place in the world. But when Mother Nature decides it’s time to prune some trees, things get a little dicey! This was just a reminder of who built the mountain ranges around here.

To give you some perspective…This is a Washington State Ferry. It is not a small boat. These Ferries hold up to 125 vehicles plus passengers. That is a very LARGE wave in the Puget Sound.
Typically, all the motorcycles are parked at the front.

Brilliance for free; your parents must be a sweetheart and a ceiritfed genius.
Hey Toby,
I didn’t know you were lurking aroung here. Long time no see!
It was a heck of a storm, I wish I had thought to get out and take some photos.

That could be same picture as I seen and if it is the photographer works some where in Boeing.
I was forwarded some images of the storm and the ferry, that would have been a fun ride.
LOL, the bikers were probably washing for days! Saltwater makes a mess of electrical systems.
YIKES!…I’m so glad they park the motorcycles at the front!
