  4. In Kentucky you can’t walk across the road with a duck on your head. In Minnesota the law refers to transporting the duck across state lines on your head.

    Don’t you just love government! How did something like this ever become important enough to be made a law!? Can you imagine that legislative session! I’ll go with the crowd Minnesota it is! Curiousity has gotten the best of me, now I’m off to read this law….

    Minnesota. And speaking of animal laws, did you know it’s actually illegal to chain your alligator to a fire hydrant in Alabama? Wait, here’s the one that got me: elephants can’t be used to plough fields in North Carolina. And these laws are allegedly actually on the books…wow, only in America…LOL…

    Okay everyone, I live in Minnesota and walk my Duck all the time. How come I have not been pulled over? He even rides shot gun in my truck with me on my way to show homes? Does it matter what kind of Duck it is? or if he has his shots or not let me know.

    I meant the Minnesota Canada border. I know that Canada doesn’t allow it either. However, in Kentucky where I live, it’s against the law to eat any kind of ice cream while driving.

  39. I know it sounds really silly, but the Minnesota law is to prevent the transfer of duck diseases between states — as though the creatures cannot fly!

    Anyone know what state has a law to forbid tying an alligator to a fire hydrant?
